American Airlines says that the passenger's electronic cigarette has a small fire on the flight from Chicago's OHR International Airport to Las Vegas.
American Airlines spokeswoman Leslie Scott says that the flight 168 of the e-cigarette battery will be very hot shortly after landing on Friday night. Scott says flight attendants stamp out of fire
No injuries have occurred. Taxes on 138 passengers and six crew doors.
Scott says this incident was reported to the Federal Aviation Administration, which tracks such events.
