AISLING – A 42-year-old man suffered serious injuries Tuesday afternoon in a work accident involving a forklift. Despite the quick response from work colleagues, the man died on the spot.
At 4.30pm, Tyrolin wanted to park a forklift truck in a sloppy outdoor area. He had probably forgotten to put a handbrake on – the vehicle started to collapse, the man running behind. When he finally sat next to the execution, he came up with the right rear wheel on the vertical area and leaned to the left. A 42-year-old man was jammed from the cab of an overturned forklift.
Work colleagues were on the spot and picked up a forklift truck with another – for the injured worker, however, no help was too late. (TT.com)
