On CES on Sunday, Crypto Wallet Company Ledger announced its latest device – Bluetooth-capable laser nano X. This device is mostly similar to the previous Nano S, which offers more support for multiple wallets and coin types, but internally keeps the other similar. But Bluetooth X will be able to connect with mobile devices through a powerful new way of accessing hardware valls through your mobile phone through the new Laser Live app.
Hardware velats allow you to keep a bitcoine locally, except by keeping it in exchange, by simply typing your key on a piece of paper, a more flexible version Devices are usually required to unlock the PIN and support multiple physical devices attached to the same key, which provide strong protection against theft or accidental damage. Laser's previous hardware wallet, Nano S, was popular among many people in the community. Laser CEO Eric Larkweck has said that the price of Nano S is reduced after the release of Nano X.
Adding Bluetooth can be controversial. Wallets usually connect to USB, and any wireless power increases the risk of unauthorized access. However, hardware-level PIN security (and a limited range of Bluetooth) reduces risk. Decisively, the laser says that Nano X is designed to respond only to devices running the same laser app, which has its own security features to maintain its authenticity.
The value of the Nano X is $ 119 and the ship will be available in March for pre-orders tomorrow. The corresponding app in the iOS App Store and Google Play Store is expected to go live on January 28th.
