The woman was seriously injured by a car in Delta



At the age of 20, a woman is in the hospital and Delta Police is investigating when she was hit by a car while walking on a rural road early in the morning.

According to the police, the officials were called to the 10200 block of Horny Drive (parallel to Highway 99) at 6:30 pm.

Two pedestrians were walking eastwards on Horobi Drive, while two vehicles traveled west.

Parking is permitted on the south side of the road, and at that time there were already a number of vehicles parked on the road.

One of the two vehicles traveling west was stretched to the north shoulder, while another vehicle proceeded to pass it. She was then victimized, at the age of 20, a woman was hit by a vehicle. The police described her injuries as "life-threatening".

Delta Police spokesman Chris Lackouf said that the driver of the vehicles "stayed on the scene and was collaborating fully with the police."

Lechouf noted that the speed limit on the road road is 80 kilometers per hour and has stated that there is no indication that the driver was quick or poor at the time of the incident.
