Cape Town – South Africa's energy minister, Jeff Redbee, has a billion US oil fields in South Sudan. The government has announced plans to invest in the country, including the reports of CBC News, including refinery construction.
The South Sudanese oil industry currently dominates Asian companies including China National Petroleum Corporation and India's Oil and Natural Gas Corporation.
Reuters reported that both the ministers signed a memorandum of understanding on South Africa taking part in the research of several oil blocks.
Radebe said: "When this refinery is complete, it will have the capacity to produce 60,000 barrels of oil every day," South Sudan Petroleum Minister Huzael Lol Gatkooth said that the deal also offers the opportunity for cooperation in the construction of a pipeline. In the south of the country
