The Dublin City Council looks to pass on the property of allowing family members to build log cabins.
Judge Judge John Lions believes that people will support their pace at a meeting this afternoon.
He said that the construction of this temporary structure will help families who are currently trapped in the private tenancy and who come out of the housing market.
Mr. Lyons said: "This is for families who have returned to the gardens, where temporary structure like log cabin can be made sensibly in accordance with planning guidelines so that it does not interfere with light, aspect and neighborhoods in all respects.
"So they will be built next to the main family residence on the back or family property."
