Peaky Blinders Series five has announced that it will kick off over two nights, with the season premiere being followed by the second episode the very next day.
We already knew that the series premiere, titled 'Black Tuesday', will air 9pm on Sunday, August 25th, but now it has also been confirmed that the second episode 'Black Cats' will air 9.30pm on Bank Holiday Monday (August 26) too.

The official synopsis for 'Black Tuesday' reveals that the Shelby family, having been dispersed, will be brought back together when news of the Wall Street Crash hits and its implications for the family business becoming clear.
Meanwhile, Tommy's political career continues to strengthen as he gives a rousing speech in the House of Commons. However, the ghosts of his past soon threaten to undermine his position.
As for 'Black Cats', the second episode will see Tommy receiving a call from a mysterious new ally with potentially devastating information. And a rival group, to send him a message, will do so by brutal.
The announcement of Peaky Blinders'Two-night launch event comes shortly after it was revealed that the last two episodes Poldark's fifth and final season will air on the same nights.

The penultimate installation will air an hour earlier than usual at 8pm on Sunday, August 25, before the last episode debuts at 8.30pm on Bank Holiday Monday, August 26th.
