According to the Verge website, users will no longer need to type their password whenever they want to access another service, either by fingerprint or by typing a PIN once the screen is displayed while using Chrome. Google has already indicated that it wants to make passwords a thing of the past and seems to have begun its actual steps to do so with the update.
Users can now activate the new feature via the password management page passwords.google.com, which includes all previous saved passwords, while Google Chrome will inform everyone of the feature as it arrives, so that any user can activate it instead of typing passwords.
Note, however, that this feature is currently available for testing for some Android users, but it will be available to all users soon.
