Lexington, Ky (Wykawati) – Lexington-Fayette County County Department announces three new restaurants where the worker was Hepatitis.

Restaurants 2990 Richmond Road (November 23-26), Waffle House 2347 Buena Vista (November 11-19) and Waffle House on 4-Carroll Road in Winchester (November 20).

Customers who had eaten at this restaurant during the dates listed, have been asked to vaccinate hepatitis.

The possibility of a customer contracting hepatitis is less likely from the infected worker.

The Health Department says that hepatitis is characterized by fatigue, loss of appetite, stomach ache, nausea, dark urine, blisters and jaundice. People can get sick for 15 to 15 days after contact with the virus. Anyone experiencing symptoms should take medical attention.

The best efforts to avoid hepatitis are to get the vaccine and to use proper handwashing methods.

The Lexington-Fayette County County Department and the Clark County Health Department work with the employees of the affected restaurants to provide vaccinations to the employees. Employees who have hepatitis are not allowed to return until they are cleaned.
