While the season was home to many frictional battles – such as bashing in the faces of Russian gangsters with Dumbles – a scene was especially noted. Castle (Jon Bernharth) and Amy Bendix (Georgia Whigham) finally find John Pilgrim (Josh Stewart) in one room
Once the Castle comes into the hotel, there is an anarchy in a beautiful-shot scene immediately after which the castle and the Pilgrim's eyes shoot at each other through the nearby rooms. And to turn it off, they threw it into the classic Netfix elevator / hallway fight at the end of the tail.
Speaking with ComicBook.com, Lightfoot mentioned that the hotel's fight is always to portray two different lives. Essentially one room represents the first fate – to the family of Pilgrim while another room represents the sins of past life.
"When we were developing scripts, we came to the idea that in one way Pilgrim, he stole the room from the room
"It was almost the Jacqueline room and the Hyde Room," the Lightfoot continues. "Again, it's like Frank, we keep the content in it, so when we got a script for that episode, to see both of these guys in both of them, there was some understanding for the fight for them there."
Lightfoot detail elaborated how Castle and Pilgrim are living close to the life of the very close life of being one person – how they live their murderer due to family.
"This was always the idea of mirroring, and then you are in that room, you are in this room, I am in this room, how can we swap, how can we change it," says Lightfoot. "So we wrote a version in the scripts, if you like, was managed by the theme and where we can get these guys, and then let the stunt coordinator and guys get rid of it."
The producer has mentioned that they have made a hotel room set so that they can do whatever they want during the scene, so that the stunt team can offer free rin and the final guns can trigger shoot-outs.
"We built those two rooms
